Our History

2010

Champion Foodservice is Founded

Champion Foodservice was established with a mission to provide convenient, shelf-stable meal solutions that help schools and organizations serve nutritious meals with confidence.

2014

A New Chapter Begins

Champion Foodservice entered a new era under the leadership of Executive Vice President Ed Nicewicz. The company relaunched with an expanded portfolio featuring trusted brands, including WK Kellogg's®, Kellanova®, General Mills®, MJM®, Red Gold®, and Jack Link's®, strengthening its commitment to quality and innovation.

2015

Expanding Child Nutrition Solutions

Champion introduced its first line of CACFP-compliant Afterschool Supper Meal Kits, helping schools extend nutritious meal service beyond the classroom.

2017

Growing to Meet Demand

To support continued growth, Champion expanded its manufacturing operations to more than 150,000 square feet, increasing production capacity and operational efficiency.

2021

Continued Expansion

An additional 75,000 square feet of production space was added, allowing Champion to meet growing customer demand while expanding its product offerings and capabilities.

2025

Building for the Future

Champion welcomed Katie Webber as National Director of Sales and began developing Z Best Brands, a new line of shelf-stable snack products featuring items such as whole grain crackers, tortilla rounds, and tortilla strips.

2026

Today & Beyond

Champion Foodservice continues to expand its products, partnerships, and nationwide reach while remaining focused on delivering innovative, shelf-stable meal solutions that help schools and communities feed students with confidence.
